Day Nursery Building
Single-storey building providing an 82 place children’s day nursery, with integral multi use space and training rooms that are available for wider community use.
The new building features a simple palette of facing materials including ashlar stone, cedar boarding and render. The general semi-rural / agricultural nature of the site is respected in terms of scale and choice of colours / materials.
Full height fenestration to the southern elevation creates a direct visual link from class room to associated play areas.
Landscape planting is proposed to soften the edges of the development, which will be enclosed by a timber close boarded fence to provide a secure environment.
